The Difference Is Our People
Larry has an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Ferris State University and has been Certified Dental Technician since 1975. Larry has dual certification in Crown & Bridge and in Ceramics.
Larry’s interest in implants and precision attachments grew through the years. He has spoken nationally and internationally on all phases of implant selection, placement and restoration and is routinely consulted by implant companies as they develop new technology.
Currently, his focus is on All-Ceramic applications of implant restorative appliances. The use of custom zirconia abutments for natural aesthetics is the cornerstone for this procedure. These products are greatly enhanced by the guided surgical applications we use today.
Larry provides comprehensive dental treatment planning working closely with Somer’s doctors on their complex cases.
Keith became a Certified Dental Technician in Crown & Bridge in 1996 and is responsible for all areas of fixed prosthodontics and quality control.
In addition to working at the bench every day, Keith helps offices with materials selection and treatment planning issues. Keith is a ”hands on” manager, touching nearly every fixed case going through the lab.
He guarantees Somer’s sought after case consistency and is committed to offering only the very best first tier materials.
Elvis joined Somer in 2008 and has become a valuable employee in helping maintain and the growth of the lab. Elvis main focus is assisting doctors and offices with any lab related issues, but he also works on marketing, treatment planning and estimates, quality control, scheduling, and lab production. Outside of work Elvis enjoys distance running and spending time with his family.
Connie’s main focus at Somer Dental is to ensure that each patient’s fixed restoration moves effectively though the lab in a timely fashion. With so many types and different ways to fabricate a crown, this is no easy task. Luckily Connie has been with Somer since 1989 and possesses the personality and technical background to organize and assist the fixed technicians.
Caryline joined Somer Dental in 1997 and has worked hard to earn the position of leading the removable department. Even after getting her CDT in 2011, she still continues to excel in attachments, implant overdentures, and the All-On-4® concept. Caryline’s main goal at Somer is to make patients happy by giving them a functional and aesthetically pleasing removable appliance. Outside of Somer, Caryline enjoys movies, painting, fishing, and playing pool with her family.
Larry N. JR
In 2012, Larry joined Somer to aid in bringing traditional techniques and CAD/CAM technology together. A technician since 1990, Larry is able to work on any fixed restoration at any stage in the process. He is key in designing many of the implant supported titanium bars. When not on a computer at work he is usually on a computer at home playing World of Warcraft or hanging with his family.
All dental laboratories need non-technical employees to run the administrative part of the business. That is where Ron excels at. He has controlled the financial areas that keep Somer running since 2009. He works with the lab management team to achieve goals that help sustain and grow Somer Dental Laboratories. When he is not behind his desk at Somer he is usually found on the golf course. Or if the weather is poor, he is either exercising or watching sports.
Of course Somer would not get anywhere without our wonderful team of delivery drivers. If it was not for this great group of guys running all over the central Indiana area nothing would get done!
