Bleached Shades
With the introduction of the new Vitapan® 3D-Master Bleached Shades, Vita® has once again expanded the horizons
of cosmetic dentistry.
With the ever-increasing popularity of cosmetic bleaching, natural tooth restoration shades are no longer adequate for "super
white" restorations. Shades lighter than B1 or even the new 1M1 have caused considerable problems for clinicians trying to restore bleached dentition.
Because there are no set standards, it has been
hard to communicate just how "white" patients would like their natural teeth to be. This has led to much subjectivity regarding measurement of a cosmetic bleaching regimen, program progress and maximum
effectiveness. There has also been no standardized method to identify the need for maintenance "re-bleaching," until now...
Vita has introduced a bleached guide as an adjunct to the new Vitapan 3D-Master Shade System. Labeled the "0" (zero)
group, these three tabs follow the same logical arrangement of the 26 "natural" shades of the 3D-Master system. It is now easy for dentist and patient alike to select a "super white" shade and
have a reference point for initial as well as subsequent treatments. Listed below are just a few of the practical uses offered by this innovative system of bleached shade restorations, all part of the Vita Shade
Management System.
