Procera® Tooth Preparation
For Procera® restorations, a tooth preparation of the chamfer type is the optimum choice. The preparation design is analogous to the architecture of the natural
tooth. Thinned margins and a cutting with rounded inner angles and edges characterize a chamfer preparation.
To attain optimum adaptation, the occlusal surfaces of posterior teeth should have a relatively flat surface topography. When it comes to preparation depth, the veneering
potential of Procera® AllCeram permits a variation in preparation depth of between 0.1-1.5 mm. If possible, take 2 mm off the occlusal.
